JV runs on instinct. If something is pulling at him sonically — a chord voicing, a strange texture, a melody that isn’t quite resolved — he’s going to follow it, regardless of whether it fits any particular lane or format. That trust in his own ear is what defines his work: guitar, bass, keys, and vocals, layered the way a track actually needs them, not the way it’s supposed to need them.
He came up around music the way a lot of people do — through feeling it before understanding it. But somewhere along the way, instinct became craft. The experimenting never stopped; it just got more intentional. By the time he found his way into TAKA, he already knew what he was bringing to the table.
Inside the crew, JV is a collaborator at his core. He’s invested in the music, invested in the people making it, and genuinely grateful to be surrounded by producers and writers who push him. There’s something rare about a group where everyone actually cares about what they’re building together, and JV knows it. TAKA is moving somewhere real — and he’s in it for all of it.
